How long does it take to get the I-140 processed at NSC ?(I live in Seattle, so I think that it should be filed with NSC.)

Is it true it is taking 15 months ?
Is there any backlog reduction plan announced for this damn I-140 at NSC ?

No backlog plan for I-140 that I have heard of .
SO far I have been waiting 12 months for I-140 to clear.

Hi guys,

I am waiting for my I-140 too, it has been 7 months. So I wonder is it possible for us to done something to press them, I called them several times. It does not seems to be helpful. Sigh, what a slow process.

my took 14 and a half month to clear. pretty average.

I heard 1 only took 2 weeks which is rare, some for over 15-18 month (due to rfe).. So be patient.

Need little help

Pardon my silly questions, it's the third time I'm logging on to this web site and I'm still confused with all the abbreviations. My guess is
EAD- is obvious
AP- advanced parole
LUD? no idea what is this, and how do you find it
FP- finger printing
ND- notice date
RD- receipt date
AD- no idea again what it is
whatt is the difference between ND and RD
Thanks in advance

LUD? no idea what is this, and how do you find it = IT IS last updated date. You find this if you register with the USCIS site to track your cases EAD, I-140 , AP, I-485. Case Status Portfolio with Updates via Email is where you register. You enter in your receipt numbers and you can get it to email you when there is an approval on your case or when they are doing internal processing.
https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

* Note on "Last Updated" date:
Your case may have a new "Last Updated" date and you may receive an Email Notification of your case being updated, without the status of the case changing. This is due to internal USCIS processing being performed on your Case. This will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date, but may not result in a different status message.

FP- finger printing
ND- notice date
RD- receipt date

AD- no idea again what it is =APPROVAL DATE

what is the difference between ND and RD = Notice date is the date USCIS receives the application, Notice date=when they generate you receipts.
Thanks in advance
