Hi all,
Sorry to asking in wrong place. Need very urgent help.
Here is the situation, I am on H1B and my wife on H4, She is doing her MS on H4b, and she got in-state tuition first 2 semesters. All off sudden this semester they are asking us proof that H1b allow getting permanent residence in US. I goggled it I didn’t see any proper document saying H1b allow getting permanent residence. Is there any document online saying H1b allow getting permanent residence?? We need this very urgent.
One of thire Guideline asking Above point::
"International students shall be classified as non-resident students. However, that a non-US citizen living in this country under a visa permitting the establishment of a permanent residence shall have the same privilege of qualifying for Alabama residency status for tuition purposes as a citizen of the United States"
Me and wife here from 2006, She joined School in 2009, I am working same company from last 4 years, and we always do joint tax failing.
I have approved I-140, waiting for 485 dates
Thank you,
