Is GC delivered via Certified Mail

Hi Guys, just wanted to know if GC is delivered via certified Mail, 'cause I am afraid if nobody is there to sign, it will be returned as undeliverable.
I got an e-mail on 8/20/07 that my green card was ordered on 8/17.
Let me know how your GC card wasmailed to you.

Your greencard is going to be mailed via a bald eagle... You are supposed to leave a piece of nice juicy steak by your mail box, the eagle will eat the steak and leave your greencard in a bloody envelope... No need to be fearful.... USCIS is a federal agency and all mail is first class and held in high regard by USPS... You don't have to sign for it, except to leave that Ruth Steak by your mail box...

Just relax and wait for the bald eagle to land on your mail box...
