Is G-28 needed along with AC-21??

Hello,
Do I have to send a G-28 form along with my AC-21 letter to INS stating that I changed my employer, even If i send it by myself (not through my lawyer).
my I-485 is pending for more than 180days through my lawyer.

Please advice.

no, u dont need it if u send it by yourself. If u are going to be represnted by any other attorney then they need to send in a duly signed G-28 form.

----- if you dont use lawyer then no need of Form G28
my I-485 is pending for more than 180days through my lawyer.
----- you can send a letter and copy of your I-485 filing reciept with certified mail to USCIS that you represent your I-485 and future communication should be directly sent to your address. if you dont want any letter or RFE for your I-485 to be sent to lawyer XYX, if you are happy with XYZ lawyer then let him represent you and no need of extra letter
