Is Fresh FP needed before we get GC?

Hi Guys,

Just checking if USCIS will ask for fresh FP before issuing GC. My FP was done in July 2006 and after that I have not recieved any further information from them.

My case is now current, and was wondering if we need to take any action to make sure there is no further delay in getting GC. I sread in some other forum, that USCIS may use old FP.. any comments?

One way is to call FBI finger print phone # and check when they received FP from USCIS.

Same situation -

FP done 04/2006 - haven't received a renewal notice after that. Any idea which number to call?


Case Details:
AOS - filed Jan 06, transfered TSC March '06
FP - 04/2006
PD current in April'08 bulletin.

These days they seem to be "refreshing" the fingerprints by using what they took the previous time, so you won't necessarily have to go and give another set of prints.

Iam in same boat my intial Fp are done March 2006, but never got any renewal notice..
Please share the FBI number to find out the status....
