Is FP notice an RFE

Hi guys. My case was filed concurrently on Nov 1, 2003. My I140 was approved on June 24th. Today I received an email saying as follows:

"Current Status:

On July 16, 2004, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or
information in this case. The notice explains in detail what additional material
is needed. If you have questions about the notice, what is required, or if 14
days have passed and you have not received the notice, please call the National
Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.
"

I am a bit suspicious what this could be. Is this what happens when they mail an FP notice? I think its a bit too early for me to get and RFE for I-485.

Any thoughts?
 
Check all your Apps( I140 ,I485,I765 and I131) status online and see what the message says for each one. so that you will know for which app they are asking for RFE
 
OK, sorry I was not clear. It is an RFE for I-485 according to the email and online status. My I-140 was already approved. I found out if it is a FP notice they say that it is FP notice, not an RFE.
I am still not sure why an RFE so early, before FP notice. I will see next week what this is about, I am a little worried.
