Is Form I-129S mandatory for L2 visa processing?

Hi,

My husband is currently working in US with L1 visa. I am planning to apply L2 visa so that I can travel to US. But, unfortunately we identified that his Form I-129S is missing and as per the L2 visa processing document list, this is one of the supporting documents.

My question is, whether I can proceed with L2 visa application without form I-129S or is there any alternative like whether I can retrieve his form from US Embassy?

Hi Deepa, Did you get this done? One of my friend is facing the same problem. Can you tell me if I-129S is need for L2 stamping.

L1B ext application

I have L1b expiring in Mar 31 and Now I have to change my client. I have not applied for ext yet and will be applying in next week. Does that have any impact on extension?
