Is expired AP ok if no travel in near future

My wife & my AP is expiring end of August ! Can I stay on expired AP ...as I 'm not travelling in near future so I might renew it a bit later!
I & my wife do have renewed valid EADs till Aug 2006 !
 
You do not need AP for staying here. If you do not travel of if you have an alternative valid status, you do not need a Advance Parole.

However, people keep a valid Advance parole in case unanticipated emergency travels.
 
Thanx Tammy2 ....I was just concerned that what if I apply for AP renewal after the 1st ones expiry date..!

There's no problem. AP is only used to enter the country - it does not provide any status or keep you legal once you enter.
 
No problem at all.

I did that before. My previous AP expired in Feb. And I didn't re-apply until March. They issued me another one valid from June 05 to June 06.
