Is employment letter required for stamping?

I understand from other posts the following are required for stamping :

Approval Notice
2 Green card photos
Old EAD/AP
Pay stubs


Q.1) Is employment letter required for stamping?

Q.2) Is an appointment necessary or can you go for stamping anytime?

I do plan to take all my files with me, but Is there anything else in particular tthat the officer would ask for?

I did my stamping today.

No Employment letter is required. No paystubs required.

You have crossed all gates nothing else (related to Employment Proof) needed don't worry be happy ; just take old EAD / AP + 2 photos + Passport + State DL

Just to confirm what eb2_I485.. said.
I did my stamping in Charlotte NC last week and my employment letter was not asked.
I changed jobs during the 485 stage...
