Hi guys,

Is Employment letter needed for I-485 petition based on EB1a I-140 approval? Should I get a letter from my boss describing the position is still available to me?

I applied for EB1A( self-sponsor) and got approved.
Do I need an employer letter to apply I-485?

You don't need an employer letter to file I-485 based on EB1-EA self-sponsorship. Just include a copy of the approved I-140 and you'll be OK.

You can attach letter from your boss describing the position is still available to me OR USCIS may ask a statement from you that you will continue working in your EB1 field. Job offer letter from your boss will not hurt.
