Don't worry. You have EAD this means you are leagal to work for any employer.
All you need to do is satisfy form I-9 to accept any employment.
There are 3 columns on that form A , B & C.
If you have any thing from A then you are allowed to work in USA.
OR
if you don't have anything from A then you will need to have 1 item (proof of identity etc) from B and EAD from C.
Your identity can be justified with your State DL.
I'm assuming you do have license.
You can print out I-9 from INS's website and check for urself.

I have my current EAD expiration date as 03/30/2004, and i am in the process of finding my next project, when i called one of the consulting companies they said that at least i should have 9+ months left out in my EAD to get an offer with them. May be it's just their or their clinet's requirements !! who knows ?
