IS Date of Birth Required on Marriage Certificate?

My friend is having to get his Marriage Certificate re-issued from India. For purposes of I-485 Filing, do they REQUIRE the Marriage Certificates to state the Date of Birth of Husband & Wife?

Of course he is submitting Birth Certificates also, but want to check with you guys ...

Most marriage certificate will have date of birth. If the marriage act under which the marriage is going to be registered does not have an age restriction, then the local body might give the marriage certificate without DOB info- Rare .
