Is Code 3 different from FP ?

Hi, I had Biometrics Code 3 last month and my I-485: 07/2004 (Pd: 04/2003 and yes i'm from retrogressed country). Is biometrics code 3 is different from FP? Don't know. How do i find out if my namecheck is cleared? Do i have to contact FBI to find out if my namecheck is cleared?

Please let me know gurus.

i would say relax. let us say your name matches with some known names in FBi what can you do? nothing. i guess all you can make sure is you get any letters from USCIS promptly, and if they ask for any RFEs make sure you get them to them ASAP. other than that...keep watch on your EAC #s...and look for status updates...
code 3 is FP...that is what they did do finger printing and photograph you.
if USCIS receives the FBI results they will update against your status saying "we recvd your FP results and processing has resumed in your case...and will let you know if we need anything or if your case is approved"...
