Hello all,
Is Bank Statement Required for I-140/485 concurrent processing?
The checklist my lawyer has enclosed has a requirement for a bank statemet/asset information. I am confused as to why they need that information. Also do we really need to send them one..

Thanks for the information.

How much amount you need to disclose. I am not sure as to how much a person should disclose...
(10,20,................). ANy suggestions/comments?
Thanks

Whatever you have in your bank should be fine. Actually the salary you quote in your Affidavit of Support is good enough for the dependent support. And you don't have to provide your bank statement to lawyer. Just mention the amount you have in you bank in item 7: I have on deposit in savings bank in the united states, of your I-134 form that you may send to your lawyer.

AFAIK,
For 485 for dependent
You have to submit form I-864 (notarized) and you need to submit copies of last 3 years of tax returns. I dont think you need bank statements of the applicant.

The list of docs for 485
The first 3 for 864

1. 3 years of tax returns
2. Last 3 months pay-stubs
3. Letter from employer

4. Copy of marriage certificate
5. Birth certificates of you and spouse
6. Copies of passport
7. Copies of previous H1/h4
8. Medical
9. Photographs
10. Checks

For I 140

transcripts, degree certs, exp. letters, original LC, educationa evaluation
