Is Bangladeshi National ID card helpful to prove marriage.

I am DV2010 winner from Bangladesh. I have married in 2003. But till now we dont have any child. We both are under treatment. Now my asking is 1) Would it be any problem to prove her as my wife? (I've mentioned her in my application and 1st letter). We have our marriage certificate and pictures at the time of wedding or later. Are that enough? 2) You know Bangladesh government has given National ID card to all of the adult citizens of Bangladesh in 2008. Me and my wife have gotten our National ID card before applying for DV2010 lottery. In my wife's card it is writen my full name as her husband. Should I show her ID card with other required papers to prove her as my wife at the interview?

In my Opinion your marriage certificate is good enough to prove. On top of that you can show some pictures of your marriage ceremony. Why you are so worried? Don't try to be pro-activate. It might make them curious

hi Torikul , sik is perfectly right. stay cool and prepare yourself perfectly.If u become proactive then not only them but also lot of other people around you can take advantage of you.

Another thing do you know whether or not U.S. people consider our national ID card as a standard document?oz our NID is full of mistakes and lot of debate still going on in our country about the NID.

Other documents u got are perfectly fine. Nothing to worry.

The marriage certificate will prove the relationship. Not having a child is irrelevant.

There is nothing you have to worry about. You married 6 years ago, so nobody at the embassy will think it was not genuine.

I would suggest not to. It is clearly mentioned on the first page of your NL "Please be advised that even though you send all of the above listed documents to the KCC, your case may not be scheduled for an interview appointment until a visa number is available. You will only be contacted by the KCC when a visa appointment is scheduled. Please do not call us to check when your case will be scheduled". You better keep an eye on the VISA Buletin. By the way what is your case number?

My case Number is 2010AS00004xxx. I asked KCC by email about confirmation of delivered my forms and about the current status of my case. They adviced me to wait till two to four weeks to inquiry about that. I've sent the forms 13 days ago. Was I wrong to send them email? I am worried. Please help by answering.

As I said they advised not to contact. Since you sent the e-mail and got the reply I think it shouldn't be an issue. But next time let us be patience.
