AVM was wrong in one of my friends case, it was at INS-TSC, his AVM said that RFE has been issued and you should receive it in mail in next two weeks, instead when he got the letter it was *NOT* RFE but approval letter.
In my case right after our fingerprinting we got the AVM message that "Your processing is over and your INS document has been sent out to you".
Some shmuck updated the records wrong and isntead of the usual fingerprinting message we got the message that our gc was already mailed out to us.
The records are updated by humans and they very often put in the wrong code.
Even when I called the IIO to ask them in person they told me don't depend entirely on AVM message always call to confirm it.
That is what I advise you to do.
