Is anybody interested in RFE waiting time contest?

I've been waiting for the decision from INS almost 7 months since my RFE was received by them. Just want to make this waiting a little bit fun, if anybody is interested in this contest, please join me.

May I know the answer to the following questions?

1. What was the RFE for?

2. If it was for medicals,
Was something missing in doctor's docs?
Or were it for XRays ?
Or missing shots?

3. If it was for employment
If it was for employment letter, did you change your employer?
Was there something mentioned in Employment letter which triggered the delay for some clarifications?
Was it also for W2, Tax returns and paystubs? If so, was your YTD in W2 more than labor quoted salary, which in turn triggered the delay for extra clarifications?

4. Did you check with the IIO whether your file got lost?

5. What does your lawyer say?

I am just trying to analyze the delay. Do not get panicked.

We were pregnant by the time we did phyical exam, so we didn't take the shots.

We didn't change employer. We got two rises after we filed labor, so by the time we repled RFE, the salary is 30K higher than stated on labor. And we did relocate to another state and change address with INS.

4. Did you check with the IIO whether your file got lost?

We called them many times by ourselves, lawyer and senator. We all got the same answer: Our case are with an officer, she will make a decision pretty soon, wait for another 30 days.


5. What does your lawyer say?

The lawyer wants us wait until 540 days reaches before they do something.

I am just trying to analyze the delay. Do not get panicked.

U are defintely ahead of me but I am catching up fast...3+ mnths and counting
RFE rcvd by INS - 08/20.
Rfe was pretty much the same as yr except Medical.

RFE issued: 06/25/02
RFE Received by INS : 07/09/02 (about 5 months as of today)

RFE for 2 W2s and 3 Pay stubs (didn't ask for Employment letter)

Same employer, same Residence same everything.

Called 5 times so far. Lawyer sent a status enquiry/ Congressman sent a status enquiry... No replies


Last time when i called i asked an IIO, since when it is with the officer? one good lady said, since 3rd October ( God knows where it was from July 9th to Oct 3rd).

Waiting currently fingers crossed.
 
Lawyer called IIO this afternoon

The lawyer was told that our files were put on the officer's desk on Nov 20th, they expected to have result on this case on Jan next year. Hope this is true.
