Is a J-1 favorable recommendation enough to apply for an adjustment of status?

I just got a favorable recommendation on the HRR,and i want ask ask if a favorable recommendation is enough to file for an adjustment of status,has i dont want to be out of status while still waiting for my waiver letter from the USCIS,please what should i do?

It is more than enough. The GC itself will not be approved till final waiver issued

Thanks for your reply,so what should i do now since i dont even any letter from DOS or USCIS yet,but just only the favorable recommendation i saw on my status online,so should i just print that out and apply for the AOS.

Wait for the letter (It arrive in ~21 days) and proceed as if you have the final waiver, medicals, forms, fees ............etc

Hi friends I had j1 visa then got married with us citizen and got EAD and travel document in Dec08. I was interviewed by IO in feb09 and my waiver wasnt done yet so they gave some time but in july uscis declined my application and canceled my EAD and advance parole. Today i saw DOS did "favourable recommendation" on my case. What should i do now?

Can we reopen case or i have to apply again? and i need to travel to back home for emergency?

how long it takes to get GC? Please help!
