What will happen if FP notice missed in mail and you have already passed notice date(i.e case will be abandoned if you dont give fp before such date..)
does 485 will be abandoned? Assume you dont get any info about FP from lawyer too. What is the next thing to do if this happens?

I know LUD will not change when USCIS sends FP Notice, LUD will change once they receive FP results. Is there any other way to know about FP Notice? Please comment..

FP2 missed case

I was in a similar situation, I had changed my address and the previous owner went for a vacation to India for 3 months. So I came to know about the notice only after that period, also my lawyer never informed me about it
( he's the companys' lawyer and u have to put his ... on a fire grilled stove to make him even talk to me ).
Even the final date uptil which I can go for FP2 had passed. I went the moment I got it and it was all good, the representative at the center looked at it for a moment, made couple of calls and that was it. I went to Manchester Application Support Centre.

rhinohere,

Thanks for your info...i am glad you made it...we will see for more inputs

FP notice missing in mail and no progress on 485 since Aug 2002. Please advice

My Notice date is Aug 20th 2002. Since the address change I never recieved my FP notice, My spouse notice is redirected to new address and has done his FP. I never received any FP notice till date, and status enquiries are not helping either. I have sent a letter to USCIS that I never received my FP and havent heard anything from them. Went to local office at Dover and the Immigration officer said that he will not get my FP without the notice just because my Attorney is not doing his job, he should be calling the USCIS to get my FP notice or he should be getting a copy. So I called my attorney and that freak did not file a form that he should, in order to be authorized to be the attorney on record. what a jerk. so he has nothing to do on my case and cannot call the USCIS. Guys please advice on my situation here.

How did you change your address? Why didn't it work?

So what should I do now

I changed my address by filing AR-11 and calling the 1-800 number and I also received the letter from INS about my address change.
NO change in my 485 status message other than ' we responded to your request for more information concerning your case...'

So what are my options now? What else can I do other than writing a letter to INS about my FP notice? Guys please help.

ssdoc,

I think Lawyer can file G-28 now so that he can contact USCIS and get an update on FP notice. This is my 2 cents...
Senior members ..Any other solution to ssdoc's problem? Please respond.
