IOWA labor dates

I wanted to do advertisement for applying my case under RIR.

Can anyone let me know the advertisement procedure. I mean is it fine that I run the ad in Des Moines Register for 5 times consecutively and then apply after scrutinizing the received applications.

Kindly advice what are the best way to advertise and how long ...

BTW: Yedati what procedure did you take to advertise and how long did you advertise.

Hi Neo,
My employer ran first Add in Des Moines Register for 3 days in a row ( Saturday- Monday) and ran second Add in Des Moines Register for 3 days in a row ( Saturday- Monday) after two weeks.
Everybody has different experience and minimum two Adds are required ( either in same newspaper or different newspaper).

Did you do any internet advertising ... also in this context.

I know everybody has there own experience but then what do you think about the past experiences your company had ... in regards to RIR approvals.

Is there a way I can get more info regarding application processing for DOL which you had followed ...

Hi Neo,
The adds ran for me only, no group adds. There were two Internet adds in Des Moines Register ( It was part of first and second add), Didn't give any add in Monster, Dice, Etc). Also Internal Posting add also required. My lawyer filed my labor documents in Last week only, It will be approved from IOWA State within three weeks if there is no query.

This means you waited for approximately 20 days from your first advertisement to apply for the DOL.

how would you advice me to go about my labor since I have to start everything from scratch.

Hi Neo,
My employer gave the first ad. in last week of April. You can file the documents to DOL after 30 days of first ad. It took me 2.5 months to file the documents (Interview process took more a month and Internal postings ad was given 4 weeks ago it supposed to give in April or May)

Hope I have cleared your points.

My lawyer advertised in two news papers

1. The Gazzette for 2 days (sat & Sun)
2. Des moine register 3 days (fri,sat,sun)
with 1.5 weeks gap.

Gazzette and des moine will also advertise online of ur case. So other internet ads r not necessary.

but u have to post ur ad inhouse too for 10 days.

I want to start the LC from Scratch. Can some body suggest me a good lawyer locally who is good at these procedures.

The message I got was "my case was recieved in regional on 30th Jun".

I called the Chicago AVM phone # 312-353-1059 and still it is saying that my employer phone # cann't found. Tomorrow or next week I will come to know about my LC status ( I need to talk to my Lawyer).

U need to try ur emp phone no twice or thrice, and try to enter ur emp phone no slowly. First the same happened but after trying for few times it went to next menu and it worked fine for me.

My company has a branch in Iowa and the head quaters is in Texas and i work in Virginia, we have a office in Va too...

So if u have a branch in iowa u can start ur labor from there.

Consider these scenarios:
The company is head quartered in NewYork and has a new branch office in IOWA.
1. Is the company had to file tax returns in the IOWA state to be eligible to do Labour from IOWA?
2. If we recieve a query to submit the revenue fo the company + tax returns - does the revenue and tax returns of the main company(head quarters) is enough?
3. Does the BRANCH OFFICE need to be a physical appearance in IOWA(or Can it be a virtual or resident agent address)?
4. Once labour is approved, where should the I140 files(in the company head quarters name and in the region (NewYork) or in the region of the branch office(Chicago)?
5. If I140 AND I485 can be filed from head quarters - do the IOWA branch office need to be in existance until the GC is approved?

I dont have much info about ur questions but i THINK
the company should be filing for taxes from iowa state and should have physical office in that state.
