IOWA labor dates

Could you send me a copy of the agreement that you have with your lawyer?
It is such a pain getting information out of my lawyer, that I want it documented as part of our agreement!

Thanks for the info. I applied on june 09th so hope I hear from the state soon. Did you get any reciept when you applied for ur Labor from Iowa state? I did not recive any till now!

Seems we will not get any receipt when we apply for State labor, but when the application is sent to regional the lawyer will get notified with the date sent to the regional. Looks like the lawyer will get notified only after 3-4 weeks of sending the application to regional
 
I asked the the same question and lawyer says Chicago regional started doing May 1st week's cases and also said they are still sending out some certifications from applications sent in March. So we really dont know until somebody who applied in May posts that his labor is through,

I spoke to the lawyer again today and she says the info that she gave is wrong about the regional processing May applications. Seems they are still doing March end/April beginning cases, So I need to wait longer than I hoped...
 
Its been 3 weeks and I still did not hear anything from the Iowa Office about my labor. I did not even got any recipt....

Hope I get it as soon as you got it...

My lawyer just called and said that he got a note that my file was sent to Regional!!!

Filed 06/09/03..

So Akaash we both are almost in same boat!!
Lets hope for the best.

When was it sent to regional? Looks like it takes about 2 and half months to three months to get through the regional, lets see how it goes

My lawyer issued ads in two news papers:
1. The Gazzette for 2 days: sat, sun
2. Des moine register: 3 days: fri,sat,sun
with gap of 2 weeks.

In mean while we posted internally for 10 days and applied on jun09

Other guys plz post ur details, lets track it....

How many times did did your company advertise and what is the time frame between each advertisement.

The processing times what you are telling are not relavent to what are currently happening.IOWA state processing is current as I have called them last week and spoke to them.Chicago currently is taking 2-3 months.How much time did your labor take before it was remended to the state.I have not heard many rejection cases from IOWA state unless there is a specific reason.Try to find out from your attorney what was the specific reason for the for that.Slow economy is a very genenric reason and all the cases must be rejected if that was the case.
 
No,If you loo at the forum "DOL Part 9" and page 110 you'll see some approvals which have been done in April.I'm for sure that they must be processing May cases by now.So Chicago approximately is taking some thing around 2 months and IOWA is current.Including advertisement for 3 months and maximum of three months for state and federal you should have a result for about 6 months.You need not wait until 12 Months.
You need to understand that your case really depends on the attorney work.How he has documented etc. Try to use an experienced attorney and your chances of winning will be more.

Please keep posted about any updates about your case.Every body's experience will be different from the other.From Chicago I did not hear many cases redeemed back to the state as it's happening in California.
