My Labor documents are ready to file, now my Lawyer is saying that my employer has to do internal advertisement in the office for 2 weeks. Atfer this advertisement only, he will file the documents for labor.
Do you have the similar experience? Is it necessary?

My employer did in Des Moines register for 2 times ( each time 3 days in a row) in April, this was told by my lawyer.

LC Contract help required
Hi all
Our company lawyer has offered to re-file my LC application in Iowa (the NY one is taking too long) provided I pay him an additional sum (over and above what the company has agreed to pay to date).
I feel that I need a contract to cover what he will do (and won't do) for the second filing, but have no experience.
Is there any advice you can offer? What are the most important things to consider in the LC contract with the Lawyer?
(I thought of getting a second lawyer to deal with the company lawyer, but at $220 per 15 minutes I decided it was too expensive!)
There is a very basic contract with www.hooyou.com, but it was so basic it didn't seem worth it.

The ads are being done twice.
We should file the second LC mid to end July. There are about 6 of us filing simultaneously.
My concern is that I have received the lawyers invoice, but no agreement or contract.
It seems a lot of money to send with no written agreement other than verbal.
You are so lucky - my lawyer sees this as a wonderful opportunity to make more money, he would never give us a freebie on the second one!
That is why I am looking for some help with what the agreement should state i.e.
I want all receipts and letters received from SESA, DOL etc copied to me. Is that unreasonable?
What else should I be asking for in our agreement?

Thanks. My lawyer told to my employer regarding internal posting 3 days ago. Even I thought that the Lawyer supposed to tell in earlier. Anyway I will wait for another 10 days.
