IO returned the Interview letter back to me at the AOS interview

Hi All,

I had my interview on 01/12/11, at the interview the IO gave back the interview letter to me which was submitted to the reception when I appeared for the interview. The interview went fine and the IO kept the I-94. Is this normal i.e. the IO returning the IL back to me at the end of the interview. Also i have had no updates online since the interview also, which is worrying. Please comment. Thanks

You are approved and stop worrying. The returning of letter is not unusual, I still have mine in my attic. Each time they keep your I-94, it is a positive sign. Congratulations and don't be concerned about the online status, wait for the approval letter and green card in the mail in the next 30 days.
