Invoke AC21

My RD is June 02. I am planning to switch jobs and from NY to NJ.
Is it advisable to switch jobs now ? I am confused regarding the AC21 or lack of details thereof . I have seen many cases approved and some transferred ?
Can some one clarify what the situation actually is ?

Hey gambler, you can gamble this one by changing your job using AC21:-). No clear explanation is given for why the transfers are occurring - so it is not prudent to come to a conclusion at this time.

No regulation for AC21. Also there is no memo for transfering cases. So just interpret in your own way and go ahead!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your replies

I have one last question though. My labor approval shows the title as Senior Software Engineer with the responsibilities being general. My offer now shows specific Software title. Do I need to be wary of this or what.
Please post your suggestions today as I have to let the company know about my acceptance offer today.

Job Title doesn't matter as long as the job description is same.

No Problem

I have changed "jobs " during my 140. I have been approved. Important thing to rememebr is that you need to keep a job. As long as you have ajob you are safe. So change!
Don't worry about your title. No one cares.

Title does not matter

I have come across the same question in murthy's chat refer some recent chats .The same question have been asked. She replied that job title does not matter but job description is the one really needs to be cared.

Good luck

My stupid employer does not want to give copy of LC, saying that it is employer's petition and they do not release it to employee unless compelling reasons , as per company policy. I have receipt number. Will it help to get details of my labor?

sn99 same is the case for me

They will not give you a copy of the LC but you can request for the title. job description and salary. Hint --get it by email/fax so that its official.
best of luck and thanks to all the guys who replied to this post.

AC21

If someone invokes AC21 several times (i.e. work on W2 in short projects of 3,6 months), Do you think there is a problem ????
