Invitation Letter

Hi,
Could anyone who's available now give advise about invitation letter for relative. Like what's required and what my responsibilities would be for visiting relative, what I would have to provide to authorities should the need arise and anything else along those lines.

You have a relative applying for a tourist visa?

If they have enough of their own money to pay for their own trip and associated expenses, and can show this with a bank statement, you should avoid this "invitation letter" business. They should apply on their own merit, leaving you out of it as much as possible (other than the requirement to list close relatives living in the US on the application). The more it looks like they depend on you, the worse their chances are. Years ago when I was applying for a tourist visa I never needed such a letter, neither do my relatives who get visas to visit me now.
