If i have been out of the U.S. for more then a year and i return at POE what will happen to me ?

Will i get detained ?

Will i have a hearing ?

Will i be denied entry ?

Based on everything above that i have stated in simple words, what will happen if i have been out of the country for more then a year and return to the U.S. without a re-entry permit ???...:confused:

At least one of the above will happen. We can't predict which one (or two or three) will happen, because it depends on the specifics of your situation and the discretion of the immigration officers.

To avoid such problems, apply for an SB-1 visa at a US consulate.
 
You seem to have had some medical reasons. I would suggest you gather all relevant documents with you and see if you get an understanding Immigration Officer. One way or another perhaps you would be able to get your way back into the US as a permanent resident.
