atleast sevp wud have put a red flag saying at your own risk.....that notice/pdf came out after closure.

As I mentioned in my earlier post, Joe will be there in each and every forum and he will hijack the actual topic. In one of the forums everyone was discussing about h1b receipt notices, RFEs, acceptance etc...., and this guy came in middle and the statement he made was 'if u use tvu degree to file for h1b it will be denied and that degree is not even good to maintain ur status', and from there topic is diverted to legitimacy of the tvu degree from actual discussion. so just stop responding that "HONEST" man.

If you had listened to me and others warning about these kinds of scams, you wouldn't be in the predicament you are in now. I'm not the only one who warned about TVU and similar frauds. It was very obvious that TVU was fake.
You gambled with your career and future in the US. You haven't explained why you did that. And please cut the "innocent victim" stuff. Nobody is believing that, anyway.
And finally, trying to shoot the messenger doesn't change the message.
Some people heeded the warnings and got out of there, or didn't sign up with TVU after reading the warnings. That's why I will continue to post about such frauds.
Too bad that you didn't heed the warnings. But you are an adult. You are responsible for your decisions, even your bad decisions.

I know joe have been warning about TVU for some time and students might have not seen them or listened to DSO instead of Joe. But what ever he said is proved correct.
If you get some answer from Mr.Rajiv it will be legitimate one, if some one else is commenting then it may be from his personal experience or understanding. So stop arguing and try to give / get some concrete answers from Rajiv or a very reliable person.

For some reason i find it very hard to believe that all TVU students are victims, come on most of them were doing odd jobs at 7-11's, and the rest that were not I am sure will have other Indian friends in US in other schools that could tell them that something is fishy.
Another strange thing is that more than 90% of students at TVU were from India.
The students were "allowed" to work in 7x11 (in the sense the CPT's were issued) now whose mistake is that ?
and moreover TVU having 90% Indian students is not a big thing ig uess....i have seen private uni having only students from southasian community or only turkish students or only islamic students....so having indian's in one university..why it seems a big deal to u ?

Joe, I guess you must try to answer the floptsu's question "why SEVP had TVU in their approved list ?" and i do agree F-1 students are not allowed to take online classes but understand a fact that if this were illegal no student have dare to done that. Always people tend to follow other's suggestions (especially when it comes from an higher authority - in this case the University DSO/President) rather than preferring to do investigations...
SEVP has not much to do with what students can or can not do. For SEVP approval, a non-accredited institution has to provide the names of at least 3 real, accredited universities that accept transfers from the institution. That still doesn't excuse the students doing illegal things. Using CPT to work at a 7-Eleven or at a clothing store or as a rent-a-cop is illegal, no matter what.
It has always been illegal to do online-only classes on F1. Any immigration lawyer would have told you that. Any quick search on the Internet would have told you that.and i do agree F-1 students are not allowed to take online classes but understand a fact that if this were illegal no student have dare to done that.

And that should be part of the education. Everybody who signed up with TVU already had a college degree. What did they learn as undergrad? The Internet is just a mouseclick away nowadays.

First use your CS to not to play with thousands of people life if you can help try to help them or please leave them alone and please don't try to kill the dead snake again. You have no heart I guess. I saw your thread you also committed for one mistake in USA. Could you please let all of us know how did you come to USA? on H1/F1 or any other visa. Just be honest have you ever broke the any law? Yes you did now you are breaking human laws by hurting others and playing with their life first stop doing that. There is government who will take care of laws you need not do that. Because of sick fellows like you all the students are suffering. Yes I do agree we should not misuse law but few students had committed for fraud god/govt or any other should punish them not every one but you are trying to punish every one. Please if you have negative thoughts about anything keep it with you try advice the people whom you know but not on the forums. We all know you are the only person started the term DIPLOMA MILL see now how many students are on the road and especially parents are suffering a lot.
