Hi

We went to the AOS interview today in Garden City, New York. It took about 45 minutes. We took the oath. The officer took evidence of our joint lease agreement, joint banking account, joint credit card account (not the statements because we never used it actually). Asked us each other's birthdays, families, how we met, where did we go for honeymoon. At last, the office asked for my original I-94 and told us that (1). I will received a letter for an updated fingerprint; (2). background check; (3). a decision will be made after those two items.

So, there is no decision. I am worried.

That happened before, your fingerprints expired (is their rule) so they need to do that again.
Good luck,

It suppose that last 15 months, apparently the problem is that they don't keep the FP's so they need new fp so they can generate a new report about you. Which yes yes, is silly why not keep the FP and that's it right? well, that is what over the internet shows but I am not sure if that is true or not. In this same forum people get in that situation but was long time ago now since many things changes with the time I don't know if that rule is still up.
