Interviewed in Local office. Case transferred back to local office after 6 months? HELP!

Was interviewed in local office. After interview was told to wait for response. Nothing. ~6months since then.

After multiple SR's(and INFOPASS), this is what I'm being told: Case was transferred to NBC and now is back in local office and is being processed pending "normal" processing times.

Any idea why a case would be transferred to NBC and then back to local office after interview was in local office?

Next course of action should be?
 
Just came across your thread....in the same boat pal :(

Interviewed in June and told that I would hear from them in 2-3 weeks - getting very close to 2 months now...

NCSC says case has been transferred to Lee Summit, MO and that does not make any sense to me plus nobody has a proper response for why the case has been transferred!

I am contemplating writing to the USCIS shortly to see what on earth is going on with this case...

Will try and keep you posted.

Lemme know if there is any update on your end of the case too....
