My 2 years condictional GC will expeired on Dicember 26 2006, I have the Biomectric appoinment on Oct 19, after this the USCIS will need to do another appoiment with me and my wife. My wife is now working in spain like me, she is us citizen.

I'm confused...did you get a re-entry permit when you left the US?

Be careful because if you live abroad for more than 6 months (or a year) then you could lose your GC unless you obtained a re-entry permit.

If you plan to come back, then interview for I-751 is not mandatory. It's discretionary, but you have to be a resident of the US and now you live in Spain....

We are palning to move to spain but I will like to keep the GC, I know that I have to come back a least twice a year.
How does the re-entry permit work?
