I had interview in chicago, IL, almost 2years ago, since than my case is still pending. both me and my wife contacted local office, but they told me it is still pending.

what can I do to get the answer if I am approved or not?

What is pending? Name check? Background check? Did they specify?

You can write letters to congressmen, ombudsmen, the First Lady, the Director at USCIS, the FBI director. You need to be persistent and vocal.

You should get a lot of responses in this thread from people who had to harass the system in order for it to work.

Is your priority date current? If yes, how long has it been current? If not, don't expect a decision until it becomes current again.

what do you mean - current again???? he interviewed already - after filing for AOS, for which his PD has to be current to begin with.
