Hi guys today we had our interview and this is how it went...and concerns i had

we arrived at INS office 10-15 min earlier lawyer came right after ,he put the interview letter in box and after 10 min came the officer and right away she said that only my wife and lawyer can go in ...and they were there like 5-10 min till i was called and officer ask question (i was not in there ,she told me after inteview)about how we met,who are our sponsors, how we pay the bills till i was waiting for EAD ,do we have joint ownership on car (2) which one she drive ,hen we bought it , she said that se was not remebering exactly but is like 3-4 montsh ,and i dont remember exactly the date and after 5 minutes lawyer came to call me to go in cubicle ,i went there she swore me ,and ask my name date of birth ,how we met and after she started to ask me those no question after that she started collecting all our docs, actualy week ago lawyer make copies of all of them and he put all in front of her ,so we dont needed to make any copies, after she collected all she start puting information on her computer and sudenly she said that her system fall down ,and lawyer ask her should we wait ,she said no guysi will put theese later and you can go ,and she told me that i need to recieve letter after a week or two ....so now start my concerns what this mean ,am i approved or what ,ins officer i can say looked happy (even that lawyer told me she is one of the thoughest in there)...
so guys anyone have this expirience advice...

I can't be sure by whatever she said, but from what you say about you getting a letter in 1 or 2 weeks, it looks to me like you are approved and you will be getting the GC in a couple of weeks. I am guessing that if she wasn't approving your case, she would have explicitly told you so. So cheer up and hope for the best. Do keep us posted on what happens.

Did your lawyer ask if you were approved. Well if the IO said that you will be receiving the letter in 1 or 2 weeks...should means that you are approved.

Every IO is different and there is not a total strict rule in how is the approval procedure, some as I heard over here even gave the person a letter, others just stamp and other none of the previous one.

Don't stress out, wait at least 2 months and check carefully the mail or if your online status (but if nothing change don't stress anyway) changes.

Good luck,

Im not sure what to tell. You probably could have asked if FBI namecheck has been cleared or if she is approving your AOS. Did you see her stamp your I-485 with the approved seal?
