interview today-no final decision

Hello all,
I just had my interview today but i am freaking out cause she didnt give us a final decision and they didnt take my EAC and AP documents.
She asked us questions about how we met and asked for the supporting documents, then someone else came and they left us alone in the room for a little while, then she came back with a different lady who asked us more questions about when was last time my husband went to my country (france), and if someone else was living at our place... they seemed to not have understand how we met.
Then this lady left and our examiner said they were gonna review our case and let us know their decision by mail.

We are the most loving genuine couple. We had plenty of pictures of us and with both our families in france and in the us and of our travels... i have no idea why they were so questioning, I am freaking out because i read all those people saying they got approved right away and they stamped their passport and took EAC and AP and all that.

Is that common to not have a definitive answer at the end of the interview? What may happen next?

:(

what's the deal with someone else living at your place? they do check from time to time...

you may be called for a second interview (stokes) where you and your spouse will be interviewed separately and they will expect your answers to match.

pictures are not the best evidence, you need documents showing life together.

And about your AP and EAD being taken and passport stamped, my interview was approved but none of that happened. However my I94 was taken.

my I-94 was not taken....:(

Save any bills, leases, shared plane tickets, any paperwork that has both your names. You may need it if they request more documentation showing your relationship is bona fide.

when I applied AOS for my wife, after the interview, they didn't say it was approved either. They just took my wife's passport and said it will mail back to her if it's approved. Two weeks later, we go the passport back with a stamp on it then another few weeks, we received the welcome letter. I guess they do things differently sometimes.

yes we are 100% real, it's so upsetting...

should i get an infopass appointement to submit more evidence?
we had plenty of pics but it seemed like we didn't had enough papers to show them, should i submit more even if / before they ask for them? or should i just wait?

Pictures are not solid evidence. Just wait, they won't flat out deny you. They will call you for another interview.

"[...] we didn't had enough [...]"

maybe they want to re-think things out and give you some more time to learn better english?? [sarcastic]

but to give my 2 cents out, we had our interview on September 2006, and we were told the same "reviewing your case".
Scheduling infopasses every 2 weeks does not help, so in my experience, make sure you got plenty of patients for next couple of years to come...

ps. still waiting for decicion (over 1000 days already since I-130)

I had my interview, too, with my daughter, it's been more than 3wks, I already received my GC but had nothing at all concerning my daughter. We had separate interviews, mine was first and approved. Her officer said he has to see my file first before he can make a decision on hers. It's been 3wks, nothing. I am just being patient. Just try to be patient.

But how does it go if we don't get any decision for let's say, 2 years, as DanielFL said? Do they renew the EAC and travel documents? Cause mine are good only until oct.09. for instance. Is it common for them to let people wait for years like this? DanielFL, you didn't get a second interview in 2 years?

If 2 years have passed since the interview with no decision, it is time to file a Writ of Mandamus lawsuit to force them to decide the case, otherwise the file will sit on a shelf collecting dust for another 2 years.

Nothing personal here, DanielFL was just trying to be funny. You definitely can write in English.

thanks Jupiter, of course I wasnt trying to be a dick thats why I put [sarcastic] at the end.
Some users like fff did not get it thats fine, I guess I was trying to be funny b/c he reminds me myself two weeks after interview checking my mailbox if any news arrived, how childlish of me...

its been 2 years, 6 months and 24 days which is over 939 days after my interview...

I tend not to check my mailbox so pationate anymore ;)
