interview sched, fast?

hi,
me n my wife filed our papers last may
we got a letter that they recieved our application on june
then i had my bio at july
now we got our interview appointment at the end of aug

is this normal? i mean, its a little bit fast. right?

and it says on the notice for interview that i should bring my i-693(medical)?
but which i already mailed that to them with all the documents when we filed it

Yeah, they are pretty fast these days. You should be very happy about it! :)

In the letter it says that you should bring I-693 IF you haven't already submitted one with your application. I would just bring a copy of it, just in case.

im happy about it but just wondering coz its kinda quick and i should get the ead first before the interview, right?

Yeah, that has been an issue with a lot of us here. I didnt' even receive my EAD, and I already have my GC.
 
Hi

We filed our papers in the middle of June and already have an interview scheduled for August. It seems the process is speeding up. Lets just hope we have cleared the FBI name check since it is moving so quickly.
