Hi everyone
I just had my AOS interview couple days ago, and I guess everything went fine, but after the officer asked all the NO questions, he told me that I have to bring in another single document next appointment and he handled me a hand delivered letter states the document that I need to submit and scheduled me for another appointment, I don't know what does this means, does it means there will be a stoke interview? knowing that the letter states that only the alien beneficiary should appear, but when my wife asked he told her she should come, I'm so confused does anyone had the same experience????

Thanks for all

first of all did you prepared for the interview like joint accounts, pictures phone bills etc... coz you have to prove that you have a bona fide marriage to USCIS.try to remember did you guys miss on something while in the interview. In stokes mostly the couple is interviewed together and seperate. I am not sure about is it stokes or not but please do put your interview experience so that we have a clear picture of what is going around and let it be alarm for other people who are preparing for the interview.

How long have you been married? When and how long ago did you enter the US? Where you previously married to another USC and filed for green card paperwork? What type of visa did you use to enter the US, and how soon did you marry your spouse?

It appears from your own explanation that you are going to be stoned with stokes interview in a few months. I wouldn't want to be in your position, but if you prepare like it was 1984, then you might survive the fire balls from USCIS. This preparation involve knowing each and every little thing which might come up about your spouse, including when last did you visit her parents. I manage to find this preparation booklet which I found on this board years ago, and I hope it will be useful to you and other members. Be mindful that it was written from the perspective of a single individual and should not be viewed as what will happen during stokes, but will challenge your mind to think critically about what is going to happen to you. I did a little bit of editing as the writer isn't a native speaker.
