Interview Questions

I have a interview on first week of Jan 13. I was wondering what sort of questions will they ask?
I tend to forget dates since my childhood. So, do I need to know line by line and date by date or something else?
Also, how should you behave? My friends were telling that I shouldn't smile and act scared. I don't know if I shouldn't be myself.
Thanks for your time and suggestions in advance.

well, all depends upon immigration officer, i would say dont act. i smiled and actually laughed too during interview ( although i planned that i would be very serious) but if officers says something funny and you are acting too much he can tell.(ofcourse you should not be joking and laughing, you should be serious but all depends upon situation) i was approved in a week.
forgetting dates, it is common thing, if you forget just tell him/her that you cannot remember at this time, it is easy to forget date/names but not easy to forget incidents that affect your life, so make sure that you dont say i dont remember anything. i forgot few names of church that i attend, but i still got approved.
you dont have to act scared but you have to explain your story (that literally tells you will be in danger backhome) some people cry loudly still get denied.
dont be surprised if you feel officer did not even read your file before interview, because they will ask the questions mostly that you already have answered in your forms.
they will ask questions like, who are you scarred from and why you are? you would have to present the fact that you are different than average person of your country and that's why you will be in eyes of one who want to prosecute you.
if you belong to some group make sure you know basic things about that group.

best of luck

Thanks a lot for your suggestions. I would definitely keep those things in mind. What sort of specific questions do they ask regarding the incident beside the summary?

there is no specific question other than figuring out that you are really in danger in your country. questions are related to your story, i dont know about your story so i am in no position what he can ask...

just master your case well and try to memorize every date you wrote on file ,that is how i did ,there is no specific questions because each officer has his/her own way of dealing with it.I know you are so stress ,all of us here had the same feelings and sensations ,so just take it easy ,and as i said just master your case because every question will come from there ,and if you just get stuck on one question ,then they will think you are lying ,so just try to master your case from top to bottom.Gd luck ,hope to hear from you soon after the interview
