Interview prior to EAD???

Hello Everyone,

My wife and I were married in December 2006. I filed my papers in February. I now have an interview date for June, but I still have not received my EAD. Is this the way it works? I really need to work!!

Any info is appreciated.

This is how it works: EADs take around 90 days.

Yes, that is the way it works. You'll get EAD shortly after your biometrics is done.

My EAD arrived 50 days after my biometrics appointment, so that isn't really a true statement for all cases.

Is EAD-Card Production Ordered and Approval the same thing?

If my EAD Card production has been ordered, does this mean my EAD is approved? Or is that something separate?

I was notified of my interview 4 week ago. I recieved my work autoization 2 weeks ago.

My EAD never arrived at all, so who knows how it works
