Interview PASSED! (military related)

I had my interview on a military base in upstate NY today and passed it. There were about 10 people at the location and about half of them were soldiers and the rest military spouses including myself. The appointment was at 10:00 AM and I was one of the last people to get called in. THE IO lady was extremely courteous and the whole process was a breeze.

(Originally I filed with USCIS in TX through regular processing, but my FP slowed down the N-400 application. And we recently got orders to move to TX so I sent in a request for expedited proceeding with all the supporting evidence. So they scheduled my interview right away.)

She quickly went through my N-400 and asked if there was any change made from the date of filing. Then she asked me to read: "How many Senators are there in the United States?" and told me to write down: "There are 100 Senators in the United States."

The six questions I was asked were:
1) Why does the flag have 13 stripes?
2) What is the national anthem?
3) What is the rule of law?
4) Who can vote?
5) What ocean is on the west coast of the US?
6) (can't remember...)

After that she congratulated me on passing the interview and handed me a N-652 for approval & a notice of oath ceremony. I'm taking my oath on the 24th in a city about 70 miles south of where I live. But I guess I can't complain. Since I live on base, the actual interview location was less than 5 minutes away from my house!

Thank you everyone on the forum. This forum has been an excellent source of information!

One step closer... :D

When you mentioned upstate NY it made me think of Fort Drum..I've passed it many times on I-81 on my way to Thousand Island crossing.
