Filed for GC for my father myself and after 3 years we got an interview. However, on the day of interview no stamp was put on passport. Nobody else was allowed to accompany him for interview an he was told that the GC would come in mail after they confirm fingureprints and documents etc (given more than 6 months ago). is that the routine or there is some problem.
any help will be appreciated

where did he go for the interview? did you file via adjustment of status or consular processing?

at local INS office and I filed for AOS is US/ not CP
