I rcvd a interview letter from Newark yesterday. Interview has been scheduled for April 08. The letter has a number of check boxes but only two have been marked for my case : -

Passport, I94 arrival/departure record
Completed Medical Form

Does this mean that I have to redo my medical ?Also should I take any other documentation like emp letter, paystubs, birth certificates etc with me?

There is a disclaimer at the bottom of the letter which I assume is std for everyone. It reads Affidavit of support (if not submitted already) : Emp letter, BC etc etc.

In my case I have already submitted these documents. Some of these docs were also sent with my RFE. Please post your interview experience in Newark.

I do not think you have to re do your medicals since I believe they that the medicals are valid for 18 months. But you should definately verify the sam with your lawyer.

Regarding the remaing docs, its always better to have all your documents with you when you go for the interview. You never know what the officer may ask for.

My case was transfered to Newark in Feb2003 and rcvd interview letter yesterday which makes it 2 weeks.

I checked with my attorney and he says that I do not have to redo my medical. There is a possibility that INS might have mispalce them. He asked me to go back to the doctor and get a new copy.

Gcwait000,

Looks like you on the homestretch. Its a pretty quick turn around from you TD.
I was curious. Are you in the EB1 or NIW category? Even so, my lawyer had mentioned that VSC did not commonly transfer cases to Newark. NJ was apparently not big on local transfers unlike some other state local offices. Looks like thats not true anymore....
