Interview letter after 1 week fingerprinting??

Hi guys,

Today my wife and me received IL (July 9). We took fingerprints on May 12. So almost 2 weeks. Is it the regular time to receive it??. I was thinking we are going to receive IL later.

You should be so happy that you recieved interveiw letter so quick, some of us cant even track our case status online, some are still waiting on fingerprint letters. But put everything aside your case moved very very fast.

It is fast. But many people have got interview within 3 months of application. You got your interview after 3 months , so no problem even for same day OC.
 
My DO is in Santa Ana, CA. I was surprised about receiving my IL so fast. I can´t believe it. I read a lot of people with that problems.

BTW If I receive so fast do they do the background check really quick too??. I heard that they schedule your interview after background check.

How to find out the DO? Is it mentioned in FP/Receipt letter? I lived in Riverside CA. I think my DO is also Santa Ana.

You will find your local office or DO when you receive you IL. The FP letter is for your closest Aplication Support Center.
You can check what your DO office will be with your zip code. This is the link:

Sometimes they can assign you a diifferent DO but I think is 99% effective.

Interview later very fast. What does it mean??

Hy guys,

I have a question. It is only curiosity:

My wife and me took fingerprints on May 12. Today we received IL for 1 month from now.

- When they send you the IL is because they completed the fingerprint and name check???.
- Does The fact that they sent me too fast the IL means that they could find something in your background or they processed it fast because there is nothing??.

Stop worrying and refrain from opening multiple threads on your same issue. An IL so quickly after FP likely just means your DO has faster processing.

Sorry about that. I didn´t realise about being in different post.
I just wanted to know if the bangrounds check are done when you receive the IL (this is what they want).

I got my IL about a week after FP was done, the interview is for June 21st, I believe they only send you the IL once your FP are clear...Good luck

asylum interview schedule

Dears ,

I am at Los angeles county and i am on F2 Visa . I have applied to asylum on Feb/01/2013 (50) day from now. And i have received my FP letter and done it at Feb/8/2013 .

Till then i didnt hear back from them . No interview letter nothing. So my question is as following ....

Since i am on F2 Visa and on status , Does it takes more time than expected ?

Do i have to send them something after the fingerprint , even though my my lawyer doesn't ask me to do such thing.


Please advice as i need to work since my financial situation is so bad and have kids and they are Americans by born.


Please Guys advice me ASAP .
