Interview in OCT, Lost Certificate of Birth

I got I-485 interview notice to appear at USCIS San Francisco office, but I lost my original Certificate of Birth, will this be an issue?
I do have photocopies of the original and the local authority in my home country will take a while to issue the Cert Of Birth.
Also my Date of Birth is stated accuretely in other certificates.
Guys please help!!!!! what should I expect??????????????
 
I had the smae problem and the officer was nice and did not make an issue out of it. I would make an application for a new Birth Certificate with your home counrty ASAP anyway and keep a receipt of that application. You don't know what officer your going to get and you better be prepared. If you will show her a copy of your birth certificate and show her that you have made the effort of trying to get the original she will not hold it against you.
