My PD is Aug. 2001 (EB-3 _ Worldwide) and my case was transfered to Houston locl office for interview 3 months ago. I was finally called for interview together with my wife yesterday.

The interview started well, with the officer asking for employment letter, my kids' birth certfictates. Then it came to whether I have been arrested before either in US or anywhere in the world. Of course, I answered "NO", as I have never had any issues anywhere with the law.

To my surprise, the officer interviewing me said that their records show that I was arrested in Italy in 2005. Initially, I thought she was pulling my legs - some form of joke. But apparently, she was not kidding.

I emphatically told her that I have never been to Italy before and that I have never ever been arrested before anywhere in the world.

The interview ended with the officer saying she was going to review the case again and let us know.

Please experts, what do I do? I am contemplating suing CIS. It is not fair that I am being put through this trauma because of something I know nothing about.

Please advise !! Thanks.
