In DV Lottery you will be asked question related to what you filled in the application.It is good not to lie when you were filling your applications. So get prepared to answer questions based on what you have filled when applying e.g if you are married, you will present proof, if youu said youu have a child, you will be asked proofs and blood test, educational documents too.

now days I am in Cairo . my appointment is 8 Sept but the embassy shifted it to 7 Sept . tomorrow I will pick the medicals result any my interview will be on Tuesday
surely I will share my experience

My wife interview is on October and today she did the police report in khartoum but, they use her first and last name only as it's on the new passport without the middle names.

Do you think the US embassy will accept the police report missing the middle names with the new sudanese passport (first and last name only provided in English)?

As far as I know the new passport is not recommended in USA embassies and Western airport, please review the
(Country Reciprocity Schedule) in the travel.state website and read about (Travel Document Information).

You will find that they prefer the old Sudanese passport so try to avoid such problem and get the old one for your wife!!

Eltaif, I used the new passport on my last trip to US and had no issue . She has the expired old passport with her, when she went for the police report they told her that is fine with first and last name.

how she can get the old passport? As I know now you can get only the new one.
