Each of the questions in the CD/booklet/other sources have specific answers. At the time of the interview, do you have to give those specific answers or can you give just the right answers but in any verbiage? Thanks,
 
I don't think they need to be exact as long as they are around the same ballpark. If you watch USCIS n400 interview videos you will notice the same.

To avoid unnecessary troubles, keep yoru answer as close to answer given by USCIS as possible.
It is not teh time to be original and creative. For example, for teh question "for what was Ben Franklin famous for?"
do not give answwer like "He founded University of Pennsilvavia", which is of course correct but not among
teh answer given by USCIS. Just use answer given by USCIS
