Hi everyone, I was just wondering, do any of you have to have interview after granting Asylum?

Here is my situation, on May 2, 2002 I applied for my greencard. USCIS send me letter for medical on Sep 2005 but never got the letter, after checking my case online I went to my local office several times, and finaly they transfer my case to my local office. And now they ask me to go to my local office for interview for may 18, 2006.

Is this commen? Do any of you have to do that? If you did, can you please let me know what the interview is about.

Somethings I learned that might help you:

if you apply for greencard for more than 3 years, checking your case online. if nothing happen go to your local office. (if you find a nice office ask them to transfer your case to your local office).

I had to go to my local office 5 times and was finaly able to get a nice officer and help me transfer my case, which help me speed my case.

by the way my case is in San jose, CA

Thanks in advance,
Brook
