Interview Experience at Garden City, New York

F*#@! They need that?? My GC was processed in California. So you think, this is going to be a problem for me too? Anything I can do to expedite the transfer of these files from CSC to New York before my interview?

Well, they had her N-400 from VSC already, so my guess would be whatever office still had her file from prior benefits, especially GC. Possibly it has to come from NBC.

They're supposed to have a complete file before your interview, so there should be no need to expedite. They f***ed up in frannod's case, that's all. I expect that this will happen more and more with the backlog processing. I'm a little worried because I once had an immigration benefit with a different A# - apparently this can cause a delay as they "consolidate the files."

That's my thought as well, that they are 'supposed' to have the complete file. but they didn't; I was very busy looking at the file the IO had on her desk, and all paperwork inside, was what i sent them for N400. They should have had records for previous benefit, Employment document, Adjustment of Status, Removal of Conditions of Residence.

Just keeping my fingers crossed that i received something from them in a month's time.
