interview, Evidence of support.

hi all,

can someone kindly explain to me what one needs as evidence of support.
I learnt a form need to be filled by someone willing to support someone for the first few months, can this person be different from the one whose name you gave while filling the form DS 230.

About the sponsor: This can be a different person from the one on form DS230. The person you put on there doesn't have to do anything.... it is simply the address where you your greencard will be mailed.
