I485 01/10/2002
Transferred to newark 12/8/03
Interview date 02/06/04

My case has got RFE all the way ie LC - advertisement, I140- company's financial, I485 - a year after filing, change employer, RFE- company's letter, change attorney to response to RFE, transferred to local office- Newark.

9.00am - reached broad street
9.10am - attorney submit appt letter at the counter, appt time
9,.30am. Attorney busy mingling with others.
9.30am - still waiting anxiously...Did not bring any book to
read. Time well spent eavesdrop!
10.00am - finally,they called my name!
10.05am- fingerprinted, take oath
10.07am - officer looked at the file and said there seems to be someone's else information in my file. He said he will remove this information from my file and will approved this case. Further said that this is the reason for the transfer. He then asked for my passport. My attorney then asked what sort of information? the Officer then got up and said he will check and will be back. My attorney's BIG MOUTH. And this point...I should banished my attorney to the lexicon for opening up his mouth at the wrong time!!!!!!!!!!1
10.15am - Officer is back and said everything is okay. He then asked for medical. No i did not re-do. Told him that there was a memo of the extension of medical. He said ok. He then asked what company and what do I do? Why I left my previous employer? I VOLUNTEER (he did not ask) to give him my current employment letter, payslips. He then asked how long have I been working for this current company. No other documents were asked. He said he will stamp my passport now and said I can work and travel and to wait for the card in 3 months time!
10.25am - STAMP and APPROVED. left INS building. Pass by the broad street and I smile BROADLY.
