I'm a DVWinner, I'm married with a 3 years old child, the question is:

On the day of the interview, the 3 of us must go to the interview, or only myself?

Did you submit application for your wife and kids? If so, I think you all have to go.

some consulates allow you not to bring a small child, but ONLY with a prior permission.

Yes, aI submited the aplications for my wife and child, I think the 3 of us will go to the interview..
